high school vs the real world

it's really sad to see how different is it to be in high school and to be out in the world.. in high school you can voice out whatever you want, joke around, be crazy with your classmates/schoolmates, and in fact, they are the one who shaped us today. without everything that happened in high school, i am not who i am today. I would be the boring, quiet girl; imagine me not burping loudly, imagine me being not SS, imagine me not an athlete, and imagine me of who i am not. (i know this confuse you but read over and over again to und, will you?) and in high school, you can voice out if you are not happy with certain things or whatsoever. but in the real world, there is no such thing cos you wouldn't want to be hurting people.

and in the real world where you meet other people other than the people you know, you gotta like somehow be more formal, change the way you talk to suit them, control yourself from acting crazy, and because of this, there's like no topic to talk with them. when i asked questions, people would be staring at me and i can see that they are thinking "what kind of question is that and why she keep on asking so many questions?"

it's really sad to see that i cant adapt myself although i've tried my best. although ppl say to just be yourself, but somehow, it doesn't work in the real world you see.. because ppl are getting more matured and here i am still playing here and there although i'm 21. and this is the real me! to play here and there, to joke around, it's me! i've lost the ability. =(
